AVBlocks v3.4 - What’s New#
AVBlocks 3.4 runs natively on arm64, adds HEVC / H.265 AU stream support, and introduces two new ways to use AVBlocks: AVBlocks Plus, a fluent C++ API, and AVBlocks for Python.
Platforms#
arm64 support for AVBlocks C++ and AVBlocks .NET on Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon) and Ubuntu Linux
The C++ and .NET samples build for both x64 and arm64 (
bin/<arch>/net10.0for .NET)download-sdk-and-assetsscripts in the sample repositories pick the SDK that matches the host architecture
API#
AVBlocks Plus: a modern C++ fluent API on top of the AVBlocks core library. See the wiki and the API docs
AVBlocks for Python: Python bindings (the
avblockspackage) for Python 3.12 or higher, on x64 and arm64 for Windows, macOS and Linux. See the wiki and the API docsHEVC / H.265: decode and encode AU streams
MP4: demux H.265 streams from an MP4 container
